Unlike many of the newer developments in Mooresville that have mainly added neighborhoods or apartment complexes with little retail, Mooresville Village is being built as a true mixed-use destination. π³πͺ
Approved by the Town of Mooresville in late 2024, this nearly 100-acre project will bring together homes, shopping, restaurants, offices, trails, and community gathering spacesβall within a walkable, master-planned neighborhood. πΆββοΈπ΄ββοΈ
It’s one of the largest mixed-use developments approved in southern Mooresville in recent years. Developer Pappas Properties says the vision is centered around wellness, connectivity, outdoor living, and creating a village-style atmosphere rather than just another subdivision.
π Location
Mooresville Village will be built on approximately 98 acres along NC 115 (Mecklenburg Highway) near the new East-West Connector, just south of downtown Mooresville and close to Bridges Farm Road. As the connector opens, this area is expected to become one of the town’s fastest-growing corridors. π

π‘ Up to 625 homes, including:

π Design Vision
Pappas Properties describes Mooresville Village as a wellness-focused community designed around walkability and everyday convenience. Think of it as being similar to places like Birkdale Village where homes, shopping, dining, and services are all connected in one neighborhood.
Plans also include a lively Main Street-style retail district and a central village square where residents and visitors can gather year-round. π
π΄ Trails & Outdoor Features
Outdoor living is a major focus of the project, with plans for:
πΏ Direct connections to the future Mooresville SEAM Trail
π΄ An extra-wide shared-use path along NC 115 for walkers and cyclists
πΆ Network of internal walking and biking trails connecting neighborhoods, shops, and parks
π³ Tree-lined streets designed to make walking enjoyable
π A central village green featuring a performance pavilion, open lawns, and community events
π‘ Additional parks, green spaces, and public gathering areas
π A proposed wellness-focused community center
π Space reserved for possible future regional transit service
Overall, Mooresville Village is designed to be much more than a place to liveβit’s planned as a destination where people can shop, dine, relax, exercise, and spend time together without needing to drive everywhere. πΆβπ³
